The location

Our special lodge is situated in the heart of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, only an hours drive from Johannesburg International Airport, with the African bushveld on your doorstep

iKhaya LamaDube is situated within Dinokeng Game Reserve. This is the first Big5 residential game reserve located within the boundaries of a metro city.

Self-Drive Routes

Dinokeng has over 140km of winding routes of all different terrains which our guests can make use of for an exciting, adventure-driven self-drive experience.

Along the self-drive routes within the reserve, you’ll stumble upon many bird hides and picnic spots which make for incredible stop-off spots and photographic opportunities.
